Iran leaves for UAE to attend Chess Championship
 Iranian Students chess team left Tehran for UAE Friday to attend the 14th World University Chess Championship.


Sponsored by Payam Noor University, Iranian Students Chess Team will participate in 14th World University Chess Championship in Abu Dhabi, with 8 female and male athletes.

Ali Faghir Nawaz, Nima Javanbakht, Pouya Ideni, Amir Reza Pour Ramezanali, Atousa Pourkashian, Mitra Hejazipoor, Ghazal Hakimi Fard and Hanieh Khalaji make up Iranian chess team in UAE Chess Championship.

Meantime, Ehsan Ghaem Maghami, Mohammad Naghi Ebrahimzadeh and Mohammad Bekhradiaccompany the team as the head coach, coach and the manager, respectively.

The 14th World University Chess Championship is organized by the Organizing Committee of WUCC 2016 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Opening ceremony of the event will be held on Sunday, April 10, with the first round beginning at 9 am local time tomorrow, April 9. The event will wrap up on April 15.
