1. Improving the quantitative and qualitative level of basic, applied research in relation to industry and society and also improving the condition of laboratories and workshops in cooperation with the Vice President for Research.
2. Pursuing to create new applied Interdisciplinary majors and increasing the number of interested students in all parts of the country.
3. Expanding cooperation with universities and other organizations in order to influence the overall development of the country.
4. Effort to promote the members scientifically by planning and following up their promotion files in the Selected Committee, the Specialized Commission, and the Board of Auditors of the University.
5. Honoring the scientific members of the country by maintaining and updating the relationship between the faculty and the scientific members.
6. Cooperation with other management areas of the university to provide desirable educational and research services for faculty members and students.
7. Preparing and updating the scoring table for research works, considering the regulations for the promotion of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
