Nanostructured Coatings Institute


Nanostructured Coatings Institute of Payame Noor University succeeded to establish the main building of Institute with primary title of Basic science and Nanotechnology Institute in 2010. The institute expanded their activities until 2013 and obtained the authority of research in Nano-structured coating activities from Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran Nano Presidency.

Missions and Visions
  • Achieving the technical knowledge and localization of nanotechnology through planning and conducting studies and laboratory and field researches.
  • Development and introduction of new technologies with commercial and industrial applications.
  • Collaboration with all academic centers and research institutes and executive agencies to expand nanotechnology.
  • Training of specialist human resources in nanotechnology.
  • Provide advanced academic education.
  • Maximizing the economic impact of the research projects.
